New for 2014!!!!! Garden Stone style stamped concrete

Salzano Custom Concrete
Introducing our new "Garden Stone" style stamped concrete, new for 2014.

This is tried and true stamped concrete, with a new twist .... actually 2 new twists ....
Ever heard someone say they don't like stamped concrete because it's too shiney? Well this is for them!!

"Garden Stone" is our new style name for stamped concrete, patterned with one of two of our square-cut patterns. Notice the color pallet, it is reminiscent of real tile pieces or larger size paving stones. The colors are used are various shades of beige  .... light tan ... khaki tones, etc.... The variation in color is "super subtle" ... this is the beauty of this style. Its so subtle it looks very natural and very real.

"Looks just like large paving stone, but no weeds, and no settlement issues!!"

The other feature of "Garden Stone" is our new zero-shine sealer!!
This is an industry standard acrylic type sealer, but has been formulated specifically for us, to produce zero-shine. It looks very natural, very dry, and no sign of sealer.  So you get the protection from an acrylic sealer, but the natural look without the shine!!

We hope you like it!

Is there a warmer light at the end of the cold tunnel?

Warmer weather on the way!!

March 1st typically marks the start of our transition out of the cold winter months into the warmer spring weather in our mid-Atlantic region. This time of year the weather and temps tend to fluctuate dramatically, warmer and warmer during the day, but we have to be careful of falling nighttime temps.

This time of year we can get into the 50s during the day, but if nighttime temps are forecast for sub-zero, this can be detrimental to new concrete, so we would typically wait for a warmer spell. This is something to keep in mind and a good topic of conversation with your contractor. If you are working with us, we typically talk/ text / email with each active customer everyday, so if there are any delays, everyone is on the same page and understands what to expect.

The bad news is that we have been hit with a particularly hard winter this year, but the good news is that we are on the upswing, climbing our way out ... Hearing reporters talk about Washington Nationals spring training is a good sign!!

Another thing to keep in mind ... this is a great time of year to start planning your outdoor project. Call us early and get onto our schedule. We get lots of calls in June and July from panicking customers that need their outdoor projects done "yesterday", when at that point we can have a dozen or more customers already waiting in line, so be sure to plan ahead!!

Hope this is helpful.
Call us anytime to discuss your project.
